IOS

KALYMNOS

Naxos Island is the largest and most central island of the Cyclades. As you approach the island by boat, you see two small islands to the right and left of the harbor. One of them has the small church of Myrtidiotissa on it and the other one is known as Palatia, which is connected to the city of Naxos. Portara, a majestic gateway, is an ancient marble temple dedicated to Apollo.

NISYROS

The volcano of Nisyros Island, which erupted in 1422, is still active. Walking around the crater, where you can see gases boiling underground, is a thrilling experience. The village of Nikea, on the shore of the crater, consists of a mosaic square and white streets.

PAROS

Paros is located in the center of the Aegean Sea. Paros Island is famous for its fine white marble. Naussa Port, an ancient harbor; is one of the must-see places. There are 3 villages on an open plain on the eastern side of the island. There are also ruins of ancient cities in these villages. These are; Dragulas, Marmara and Tsipidos (Chipidos). These three villages are also known as Kefalos villages. Kefalos is the name of a steep and high hill and on this hill is the Monastery of Saint Antonios, an abandoned monastery.

PATMOS

Patmos Island is a volcanic island in the Aegean Sea. It is located on the Aegean coast of Turkey called Asia Minor; south of the island of Samos and west of Miletus. Patmos Island is famous in history as the place of exile of St. John.

"I am John ..... "I John was here on an island called Patmos, spreading the word of God and bearing witness to Jesus" (Revelation 1:9).

It is believed that this apostle was also somehow influenced by the image of the island and wrote the last chapter of the Gospel, the Revelation, in visions he had here. RODOS

Rhodes is the largest of a group of 12 islands. It has the best preserved and largest medieval city in Europe. Santorini was a single island at the time of the Minoan civilization. 3600 years ago, it was a single island after a volcanic eruption; the oldest civilizations of the time were destroyed by this eruption. Geographically, today's geological caldera was formed. It became an archipelago by forming a large lake surrounded by three steep cliffs. Santorini, with its natural beauty and vibrant nightlife, has become an indispensable destination for high society in Europe. Symi is a mountainous Greek island. The islanders once made a living from shipbuilding and sponge diving, and the population grew to 22,500. Today Symi's only source of income is tourism and the local population is around 2,500.

The inland is dotted with small plains, while the coastline is lined with cliffs, beaches and safe coves. The largest city is located on the northeast coast and bears the same name as the island. The harbor and its surroundings are called "Yialos" and the upper part is called "Hora". One of the most famous buildings of the island is the Panormitis Monastery built in the name of Michael. Today, the holy Monastery of the Archangels has loyal guests from all over the world.
